Galvão Bueno vai à Olimpíada em novo projeto
Even though he has ended his cycle as a sports narrator for Globo, Galvão Bueno will be back on the channel’s Olympic coverage, in a project devised in conjunction with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB).
The narrator will be an ambassador of Casa Paris Brasil, in the French capital, the host city of the 2024 Olympic Games. From there, Galvão will be tasked with producing content and hosting some specific programs about the Olympic Games.
One of the programs included in this project is “Look what he did”, in which Galvão will interview Brazilian Olympic medalists.
In addition to this attraction, the narrator will also host the “Olympic Resenha”, with reports and discussions about the Olympic Games and interviews with Team Brazil ambassadors. The program will also feature content recorded at competitions and the Training Center.
For this project, Galvão will have the partnership of journalist Marcos Uchôa, who has already participated in nine Olympic Games, along with Galvão himself.
The Olympic Resenha will be one hour long and will be shown on the GB Channel – Galvão’s channel on YouTube, developed in partnership with Play9 – and on the Brazilian Olympic Channel.
According to the statement, this attraction may also be shown on ge, Globo’s sports portal.
Also as part of the project, Galvão will participate in COBCast, a daily program that will be broadcast on the Team Brazil channel on YouTube. From the same location, Galvão will also participate in Central Olímpica, a special program on Globo, which will be aired during the Olympics, under the command of Tadeu Schmidt.

And, of course, to be able to be alongside friends again, like my fellow companion in so many coverages, Marcos Uchôa,” said Galvão in the official statement.
